Overall assessment of SRI test phase

Despite the non-committal test phase not being requested yet, the following LIFE projects are carrying out activities in the country: Smart Square, easySRI, SmarterEPC, tunES.

Activities carried out during the SRI test phase

The Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA), within the framework of national research projects and in collaboration with University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, as well as several companies, has conducted the following activities related to the Smart Readiness Indicator:
– Adaptation of the service catalogue based on the analysis of the state of the art of existing technologies characterizing the national building stock;
– Proposal for modifying the weighting factors;
– Application of both the European calculation sheet and the adapted one to different types of buildings as case studies;
– Promotion of SRI through webinar, workshops and working groups in technical committees;
– Design concept of a SRI certificate example.

Moreover, ENEA, is partner in the EU-funded project tunES, which supports Member States at all stages of EPC & SRI policy design, implementation and evaluation.
